Located in Wilmington along the beautiful North Carolina coast, Lumina Winery is a small winery dedicated to the production of quality wines. We offer free wine tasting, selling by the glass, and on-line sales. Wine & beer kits are also available for the home winemaker or beer enthusiasts. Blueberry, American Chardonnay, Yadkin Valley Cab Franc, Wrightsville Red (Muscadine), Sweet Carlos & Green Apple Riesling are just some of our vintages. Grapes or varietal juices from the world over are vinted under strictly-controlled conditions. After fermentation, wine is filtered, bottled and aged. Our wines are meant to be consumed early so they contain low levels of sulphites (< 50 ppm) Sweet Carlos won a Silver Medal in the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition held at the Regency Country Club at Dominion Valley in Prince William County, Virginia in 2007. Our Semi-Sweet Muscadine Noble took a Bronze Medal in that competition as well. **** BEER KITS AVAILABLE! We have Brewer's Best Beer ingredient kits! The kit come in an attractive box and have been reformulated to fit AHA beer style guidelines. We have the following kits: Amber, Light, Cream, Blonde Ale, English Pale Ale, Dortmunder, Kolsch, Maibock, Red Ale, Summer Ale, and Vienna Lager. We also have some of the newest kits such as Vienna Lager, Marzen Festbier, Munich Helles, Briess LME in Golden, Pilsen, and Munich. We have the following White Labs liquid Yeast: Kolsch, British Ale, American Ale and California Ale Yeast. We have 2 row and wheat grains in 10 lb bags. Beer kits have also arrived from True Brew: Belgian Ale, California Common, German Light, Wheat, Canadian Ale, Bavarian Heffeweizen and more! We are pleased to announce the release of our Strawberry Wine. It's made of 100% North Carolina Strawberries and is sweet with a strong natural aroma of strawberries. Come in and taste!
